Matt Ensor

Matt Ensor, with over 28 years at Beca as Transport Advisory Business Director, is dedicated to improving transport equity using advanced technologies.

Recognising micromobility’s potential, he won the T-Tech21 best presentation award on forecasting mode shift.

In 2020, Matt founded FranklyAI, a startup with the vision for conversational online engagement, rather than traditional forms, and a mission of “No voice left behind”. Currently, Matt chairs the Large Language Model working group for AI Forum NZ, innovatively applying AI to enhance community engagement and staff productivity.

Matt has spent most of his life in Tāmaki Makaurau and enjoys coffee, reading about technology and being a Dad to Delta and Pippa.
